In August, the facility was officially connected to the Western Power grid, what a fantastic milestone! This has enabled an increase in commissioning activity around the facility as construction nears completion.
Most of the external cladding has now been completed and the building is fast becoming weather proof. Internal fit out of the various offices, rooms and facilities continues. Urbanisation work is underway around the facility with a focus on roads and walkways.
Focus is to progressively close out construction and transition the entire facility to commissioning as we approach first fire.
